Meet the Travel Network

The Travel Network is a new addition to the PEM events directory, a member directory organized by city and country, with event attendance matching built in.

The idea is straightforward: private markets is a relationship business, and brand builders & capital raisers spend a significant part of their year on the road. SuperReturn, IPEM, ILPA - the calendar fills fast, and the best conversations often happen outside the conference room. The Travel Network is designed to make those conversations easier to find.

Browse the member directory by city and country to find IR and marketing peers in your next destination, before you land.

Whether you're heading to New York for a week of LP meetings or London for a conference, you can see which peers are based there. A warm introduction before you arrive beats a cold LinkedIn request after the fact.

Event attendance matching

See which members are attending the same conferences and events as you, and reach out before you get there.

Mark the events you're attending, see who else has done the same, and connect ahead of time. The goal is to turn a list of names on a badge into actual conversations and to do it before everyone's diary is already full.

Local meetup coordination

Turn conference trips into community moments. Connect with members in your city or theirs, and make every trip count twice.

Some of the most useful conversations in private markets happen at the dinner table after the conference wraps, or over coffee the morning before it starts. The Travel Network gives you the infrastructure to make those moments happen with the right people.

How to access it

The Travel Network is available to PEM members as part of the events directory. Log in, update your location and upcoming event attendance, and start exploring who's in your network and where they're going.
