PIMCO closes €1.8 billion PIMCO European Data Centre Opportunity Fund

PIMCO has entered the history books with its first ever data center fund offering, holding a final close on €1.8 billion for PIMCO European Data Centre Opportunity Fund.

The US asset manager exceeded its original target size for the vehicle, which was closed at the end of October, by 2.4x. The fundraise kicked off in August 2023 with seed capital from PIMCO parent company Allianz Group and a target size of €750 million, and a first close was held on €300 million in March 2024.
